The screw with a long lever allows you to gradually and controllably increase the pressure on the fruit pulp. Wooden blocks and semicircular spacers help make use of the screw stroke even as the volume of the pressed fruit decreases.
The wooden slatted basket, with a capacity of approximately 12 litres, provides plenty of space for processing a larger batch of prepared fruit. Metal hoops reinforce the construction during pressing.
A mesh bag for pomace is included. It helps keep the fruit pulp in the basket, separate the pulp from the juice, and makes it easier to remove the residue after pressing.
This practical 12 L fruit press is suitable for processing seasonal harvests from the garden, orchard, or cottage. The screw mechanism gradually increases the pressure on the prepared fruit pulp, making it easy to separate the juice from the pulp. The press can be used, for example, for pre-crushed apples and pears, grapes, strawberries, raspberries, or pitted sour cherries and plums.
The natural wooden basket is reinforced with metal hoops and mounted on a stable metal three-legged base. The collection tray directs the extracted juice to the outlet, beneath which you only need to place a suitable container. A mesh bag is included to help contain the pulp and make cleaning up after pressing easier.
Important: the press is intended for soft or previously prepared and crushed fruit. Do not place whole hard apples, pears, carrots, or fruit with stones in the press – hard fruit must be crushed beforehand, and stone fruit must be pitted.
