The AXAGON PCIe 4.0 x1 network card brings fast 10GbE connectivity via RJ-45 to desktop computers, workstations and servers. The Realtek RTL8127 chipset, automatic support for 1/2.5/5/10 Gb/s speeds, a silent passive cooler, PXE and Wake-on-LAN make it a practical solution for modern Multi-Gigabit networks and fast transfers to NAS devices.
The AXAGON network card enables speeds of up to 10 Gb/s even in a short PCI Express 4.0 x1 slot. It is also compatible with PCIe x4, x8 and x16 slots and works backwards with PCIe 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0, although with limited maximum throughput. A PCIe 4.0 slot or newer is required for the full 10 Gb/s speed. The RJ-45 port with automatic speed detection ensures easy connection to existing Gigabit and Multi-Gigabit networks.
The passive finned cooler operates without a fan, so the card provides completely silent operation. It supports PXE network booting, remote Wake-on-LAN wake-up including RealWoW! technology, VLAN, traffic prioritization and precise PTP/gPTP time synchronization. Jumbo Frames of up to 16 KB and offload functions reduce processor load during demanding data transfers.
