The SFP1-BIDI-LU optical module enables bidirectional data transmission over a single single-mode optical fiber. Bidi technology uses different wavelengths for transmission and reception, conserving available fibers and facilitating the use of existing optical infrastructure. It is suitable for corporate networks, industrial facilities, camera systems, and connections between network cabinets.
The module supports Gigabit Ethernet at speeds of up to 1.25 Gb/s and can be installed in compatible devices with an SFP port, such as switches, routers, or media converters. The compact Simplex LC/UPC connector helps maintain organized cabling even in densely populated network cabinets.
Important: variant B works only when paired with a Bidi A module. Two modules of the same variant cannot be connected to each other.
