The Freewell Brandon Li Edition set is designed for lenses with an 82 mm thread and provides a versatile solution for working in changing and very bright light. The VND/CPL module enables independent control of both functions: use the front black ring to adjust the neutral-density filter intensity from ND2 to ND32 (1–5 EV), while the rear green ring controls polarization. The CPL filter reduces reflections on water, glass, and other non-metallic surfaces while also enhancing contrast and producing more natural colors.
For challenging lighting conditions, the included ND32 filter can be magnetically attached to the module. This extends the light-reduction range to 6–10 EV, up to a value equivalent to ND1000. The ND32 can also be used separately on the base ring. The magnetic attachment with a locking mechanism enables quick configuration changes and helps keep the filter securely in place even when working on the move.
The set also includes a Glow Mist 1/4 filter, which gently softens highlights and gives the scene a more cinematic character. Optics with 18-layer coatings and True Color technology with an Anti-Color Shift Layer help reduce reflections and color shifts. Package contents:
