The Freewell Brandon Li Edition filter system is designed for lenses with a 77 mm thread and offers a practical solution for working in changing light. Use the front black ring to adjust the intensity of the variable ND filter from ND2 to ND32, equivalent to 1 to 5 stops. The rear green ring is used to independently adjust the CPL polarization, which reduces reflections on water, glass, and other non-metallic surfaces while enhancing contrast and producing more vivid colors.
In demanding bright conditions, the included ND32 filter can be magnetically attached to the VND/CPL module. The total light reduction range is thereby extended to 6 to 10 stops, up to a value equivalent to ND1000. The ND32 can also be used separately with the base ring, allowing you to easily adapt the configuration to the specific scene.
The magnetic system with a locking mechanism enables quick filter changes and reliable attachment. The set also includes a Glow Mist 1/4 filter, which gently softens highlights and gives the image a more cinematic character. The optical elements use 18-layer coatings and True Color technology with a color-shift prevention layer. The front cap also features an integrated gray card for convenient white balance adjustment.
