Non-contact measurement in the range of 70–600 V AC allows you to detect the presence of voltage approximately, without metallic contact between the probe tip and the measured point.

This battery-powered voltage tester is suitable for quickly checking electrical installations. In contact mode, it detects AC voltage in the range of 70–250 V AC. An illuminated indicator signals a live conductor, while an unlit indicator indicates voltage below 70 V AC.
For even safer approximate checking, you can use the non-contact mode in the range of 70–600 V AC. During this measurement, the probe tip does not make metallic contact with the measured surface. The tester also enables polarity and continuity testing.
Warning: Before each use, check proper operation using the SELF TEST. Do not use the tester in damp environments or for voltages above the specified range. Use the probe tip only for checking voltage; do not perform any other work on an energized electrical circuit with it.
