The SJCAM C300 is a compact action camera designed for situations where a phone is impractical – on a bike, motorcycle, skis, or during water activities. It offers recording in 4K (3840 × 2160) at 30 fps and thanks to the f/2.0 aperture it can handle more demanding lighting conditions. The wide 154° field of view with distortion correction helps capture landscapes and fast action without the unpleasant “fish-eye” effect.
For smooth video while riding or filming handheld, the camera is equipped with 6-axis gyro stabilization and also offers 8× digital zoom. Fans of dynamics will appreciate slow motion: 2× (2K/60 fps), 4× (1080p/120 fps), or 8× (720p/120 fps). A wide range of modes is available including time-lapse, loop recording, pre-recording, motion detection, or car mode.
Operation is made easier by two 1.3" touch displays and connection via Wi‑Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) for use in the app. The camera supports live streaming to YouTube and can also be used as a webcam. Recording is saved to a microSD card up to 128 GB and it charges via USB‑C. For underwater use, it is rated up to 30 m when inserted into the housing, and it also includes an underwater white balance mode.
