The SUNSUN HW-703B external canister filter is designed for efficient and stable water filtration in aquariums up to 600 liters. Thanks to the high flow rate of 1,400 l/h and a combination of mechanical, biological (and optionally chemical) filtration, it helps keep the water clean and the environment for fish and plants balanced over the long term. Compact dimensions of 270 × 270 × 440 mm make placement under or next to the aquarium easier.
Four-stage filtration system uses spacious baskets for filter media. The package includes sponges, filter wool, ceramic rings, and bio balls, which capture impurities and support the growth of beneficial bacteria. If needed, chemical media can also be added (e.g., activated carbon).
Integrated 9 W UVC lamp routes water through a reactor where UV radiation helps reduce the occurrence of algae, bacteria, and other unwanted microorganisms. The released impurities are then captured by mechanical filtration. The lamp lifetime is approximately 7,000–10,000 operating hours.
Easy start-up and maintenance are ensured by a manual priming/bleeding pump and a multifunction valve with a quick connector, allowing the hoses to be disconnected without draining the water from the filter. 360° swivel connections simplify installation, and baskets with handles speed up cleaning.
