The mechanical section captures impurities and floating particles, biological filtration provides space for beneficial bacteria, and the chemical stage allows the use of optional media such as activated carbon. Filter media are not included.
The integrated 9 W UV-C sterilizer acts on the flowing water and helps reduce the growth of algae, bacteria, and pathogens. The UV-C lamp has an approximate service life of 7,000 to 10,000 hours. To maintain its effectiveness, regular lamp replacement and cleaning of the quartz sleeve are recommended.
For convenient use, the filter is equipped with a manual pump for easy priming and air removal, a multifunction valve with a quick connector, and 360° rotating hose connectors.
