The Solight outdoor socket with IP66 protection is designed for places where ordinary sockets are not sufficient: damp areas, dusty environments, workshops, construction sites, gardens, or industrial operations. The integrated single-pole (1P) rotary switch allows the cable to remain permanently connected while the power supply can be conveniently controlled directly at the socket.
Safety is enhanced by the transparent cover, which can be locked with a padlock (padlock not included). The extended cover protects part of the cable and also helps when closing the cover. Rubber sealing and waterproof plugs contribute to thorough sealing against water and dust. The socket can be used at temperatures from -20 °C to +60 °C and has been tested for heat resistance at 850 °C, so it can also be installed on flammable materials without additional insulation.
