The D-Link DGS-1100 series is designed as a cost-effective solution for SOHO/SMB and smaller branches, meeting rooms, and installations where you need basic managed features without unnecessary complexity. The switch enables convenient management via a graphical web interface and also offers a command line (CLI) via Telnet for faster configuration.
For better traffic organization, it supports Layer 2 management features such as VLAN, Spanning Tree (STP), and static link aggregation. Security and protection mechanisms are also included, such as IGMP snooping, Static MAC, and Storm Control. For clearer network operation, quick configuration is helped by automatic detection of devices from D-Link and other manufacturers.
