An active crossover with dual amplification (bi-amp) enables independent control of the highs and mid-bass. The result is smooth transitions between bands, better control, and more faithful detail when mixing and listening.

Edifier MR 4.5 speakers are built to preserve the character of the original recording as faithfully as possible. Dual amplification (bi-amp) separately drives the tweeter and mid-bass band, bringing smooth frequency transitions, better control, and a cleaner presentation. The combination of a 1" silk-dome tweeter and a 4.5" mid-bass driver helps maintain natural tonal balance with good detail and more stable bass.
For comfortable listening not only in the “sweet spot”, the monitors use a precisely shaped tweeter waveguide that improves dispersion and keeps the sound character consistent even off-axis. 80 W RMS power and max. SPL 98 dB (1 m) are suitable for covering medium-sized rooms and nearfield work. There is also acoustic correction (treble/bass, room compensation, desk reflection correction) via the controls and the EDIFIER ConneX app.
Connectivity covers both professional and home sources: XLR, 6.35 mm TRS, RCA, 3.5 mm AUX and Bluetooth 6.0 (with simultaneous connection of two devices). There is also a 3.5 mm headphone output. Operation is made easier by a multifunction knob for volume, power, and switching sound modes.
