AXAGON StandReader is a universal desktop reader for contact chip cards. It is ideal as an ID card reader (eID) for use with phones and computers equipped with a USB‑C port. The reversible USB‑C makes connection easier – there is no need to deal with the correct connector orientation.
Thanks to the Plug & Play function, the reader is ready for use immediately without installing drivers; to work with the inserted card, you only need to install the appropriate application. The reader is compatible with most national eID (electronic identity document) applications.
