The combination of a photoelectric smoke sensor and an electrochemical CO sensor helps detect both a smoldering fire and dangerous carbon monoxide levels in time. Different audible signals make it easier to distinguish the type of threat.
Power is supplied by 2× CR123A (3 V) lithium batteries with a lifetime of up to 10 years, which corresponds to the maximum service life of the device. The alarm notifies you of low battery and end of service life with audible and visual indication.
The X-Sense smoke and carbon monoxide detector is designed for early recognition of two of the most common household hazards—smoke and CO. Photoelectric smoke detection is especially sensitive to particles typical of smoldering fires, while the electrochemical sensor continuously monitors the presence of carbon monoxide. For easier orientation, the device uses different audible signals for smoke and CO, and when CO is detected it shows the current concentration in ppm on the LCD.
