The Firesco FCO-850 WF carbon monoxide detector uses a precise electrochemical sensor and continuously checks the CO concentration in the surrounding air. When a dangerous level is exceeded, it triggers an 85 dB audible alarm and simultaneously lights the red LED. The Test / Silence button allows a quick functionality check as well as temporary silencing of nuisance alarms.
The built-in Wi‑Fi module enables connection to the Tuya / Smart Life platform. The detector can also be used independently without the app, but once connected to the home network it sends real-time alarms and notifications directly to your phone. It also monitors the status of the batteries, sensor, and internal circuits—if a fault occurs, it activates the yellow LED and the corresponding audible indication.
This model is designed for free-standing installation (e.g., on a bedside table). It is suitable for kitchens, bedrooms, and rooms with appliances that may be a source of CO (gas boilers and heaters, gas stoves, fireplaces, stoves, oil or coal appliances, etc.). Manufacturing complies with EN50291-1:2018, and compliance is confirmed by an independent European testing laboratory.
