Shelly BLU Door/Window ZB is a compact smart sensor for a smart home that reliably monitors door/window opening and closing, measures the tilt angle (ideal for tilt windows), and thanks to the integrated sensor also reacts to the ambient light level. It supports Zigbee 3.0 and Bluetooth 5 LE, provides secure encrypted communication, and offers broad automation options for homes and commercial spaces.
With the Shelly BLU Door/Window ZB sensor, you can easily automate both security and comfort. It detects changes in the door or window state and, thanks to tilt measurement, also recognizes the tilt position—so you can trigger scenarios precisely according to how far the window is open. The built-in light sensor additionally enables automations based on ambient light (e.g., after dark).
Practical uses:
- automatic heating shut-off when a window is opened/ventilated
- triggering ventilation when a certain opening angle is reached
- automatic lights on based on illumination level
- better access control and security in apartments, houses, offices, and public buildings
The device offers two operating modes: Regular (sends data on changes—status, illumination, battery, angle) and Beacon (periodic broadcasting approximately every 30 seconds). Thanks to its compact dimensions and wireless battery power, installation is quick and discreet.
