The bypass is designed for installation between the filter/pump, the heat pump, and the pool. Thanks to the three ball valves, you can smoothly set how much water flows through the heat pump and how much flows through the bypass branch. At the same time, you can shut the circuit off completely – ideal for maintenance, service, or winter shutdown.
It is also a great solution for pools with salt treatment, chlorinators, solar heating, and other dosing systems. A correctly positioned bypass can help protect the heat pump from contact with more aggressive chemicals and thus extend its service life.
Kit contents:
PVC gluing recommendations: clean and lightly roughen the bonding surfaces, apply cleaner/primer to both the pipe and the fitting, after it flashes off apply glue evenly to both surfaces, immediately join by pushing in and slightly twisting, hold briefly, and allow to cure (ideally 12–24 hours depending on conditions).
