The multifunction Uni-T UT685B tester is a practical kit for diagnosing and installing low-voltage networks – it handles cable length measurement, fault location, wire mapping, and PoE detection. Thanks to integrated RJ11, RJ45 and coaxial interfaces, it speeds up field work and makes it easier to verify correct wiring.

Uni-T UT685B is a TDR cable tester designed for technicians and installers who need to quickly verify cabling and find faults in wiring runs. It supports twisted pairs (UTP/FTP/SSTP), coaxial cables, and telephone lines, making it suitable for service, installations, and day-to-day network maintenance.

With the length measurement and fault location functions, you can easily determine where an open circuit or problematic section is located. Cable mapping helps reveal wiring mistakes, and PoE detection verifies the presence of power and compatibility with 802.3AF/AT/BT standards.

For convenient operation, the tester features a 2.8" LCD display, an Ethernet port test function, and port flashing for easier identification of connections on 10/100/1000 Mb/s networks. It also includes NCV and input protection up to 70 V DC. Automatic power-off after about 10 minutes saves battery, and 4× AAA power is practical on the go.
