Marimex pH Minus is a powdered product for lowering the pH of pool water to the ideal range of 6.8–7.2. It helps reduce mineral cloudiness, limescale and deposits, while also contributing to less water irritation and limiting the typical “chlorine” smell that occurs when pH is too high.
The correct pH level is essential for clean, pleasant water. If the pH is too alkaline (above 7.2), the water may irritate skin and eyes more, deposit formation increases, and a stronger chlorine odor often appears. Marimex pH Minus is designed for fast and accurate pH adjustment so that pool chemicals work effectively and the water stays clear.

Dosage and application:
- To lower pH by 0.2, dose approx. 15 g per 1 m³ (1000 L) of water.
- Dissolve the measured dose in a plastic watering can and slowly pour into the pool with the filtration running.
- Allow sufficient time for the water to mix through filtration.
- If the pH does not reach the desired value, repeat the procedure.
- During application, it is necessary to ensure no people are in the pool.
- 250 g of product corresponds to approximately a 150 ml measuring cup.
