Recommended use: place the lamp around an outdoor seating area, near sidewalks, or along pathways, where you will appreciate pleasant light and fewer insects. For proper operation, install it outdoors in a location with direct sunlight for at least 6 hours a day and do not place it near street lighting (the light sensor may switch the lamp off).
Installation: after unscrewing the shade, turn the lamp on using the switch, screw the shade back on, and place it in a sunny spot. At dusk, the light will turn on automatically.
