The 1095 carbon steel blade with a black powder-coated finish cuts exceptionally well, is easy to sharpen, and withstands hard use. For long service life, it is advisable to occasionally oil the blade surface. The gray Micarta handle feels good in the hand, doesn’t slip, and has a lanyard hole at the end. Included is a brown Coyote Tan plastic sheath with the option of MOLLE attachment, so you can easily mount the knife to your gear.
