Universal cylinder mortise lock 5140/22PPN for doors with 90 mm spacing, featuring reversible right/left (R/L) design, a gear mechanism for latch operation via the cylinder, and preparation for rose and security hardware. Thanks to the easy right/left reversal and robust construction, it is ideal for reliable and secure locking of interior doors.
The lock is mechanical, two-bolt, and operated by a cylinder. The geared construction allows the latch to be operated directly by the cylinder, increasing user comfort and security. The split latch enables quick change from right to left handing without replacing the lock.
Thanks to 7 mm diameter holes in the side plates, the lock is compatible with two-piece (rose) hardware. The 9 mm oval opening in both the cover and base plates allows the use of security escutcheons. Selected versions are also available in a fire-resistant variant according to EN 12209, class BT3.
