The self-fusing polyisobutylene tape is ideal for quick sealing, insulation, and protection. When stretched by approx. 50%, a vulcanizing effect occurs—the layers permanently bond without adhesive, creating a durable, tight surface. The tape is malleable, conforms excellently to the substrate, and withstands water, UV radiation, and chemicals.
It is suitable for use in automotive, marine, caravans, in electrical engineering and telecommunications (cable wrapping), and at home for repairing garden hoses and pool piping. It can be applied to most common materials such as PP, PE, rubber, PVC, and more.
