Green vitriol is a fast-acting fertilizer with ferrous sulfate that helps prevent and eliminate symptoms of chlorosis in pome and stone fruit, strawberries, and grapevines. Thanks to its acidic reaction, it improves iron availability in the soil and also enables safe foliar feeding when properly dosed.
The product also has herbicidal properties—in combination with ammonium sulfate and lawn sand it is used to control moss and lichens in ornamental lawns. Follow the label instructions during application and avoid contact with paving, where it may leave stains.
Recommendations for use: Spray early in the morning or in the evening, not in full sun. Use only on designated areas and always follow the information on the packaging.
