The SHAPTON 0510 cast-iron lapping system is designed for precise truing and maintenance of water sharpening stones of all brands. The combination of a flat cast-iron plate and abrasive powders enables quick removal of high spots, restoration of flatness, and increased sharpening efficiency.

Using the system is simple: apply water, spread the abrasive mixture, and true the stone with circular motions. To monitor material removal, it is recommended to draw a pencil grid on the stone beforehand. After use, simply rinse and clean the plate. The system is compatible with almost all types of water stones, except diamond stones.
