ND8 (3 stops): lightly overcast, morning/evening – gentle motion smoothing.
ND16 (4 stops): all-round for sunny days – better contrast, prevents blown highlights.
ND32 (5 stops): very bright conditions – preserves natural colors.
ND64 (6 stops): longer exposures – effects like silky water or moving clouds.
