Synology DiskStation DS725+ is a compact network-attached storage system for households, creative professionals, small businesses, and enterprise branch offices. The Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system provides an intuitive environment for data management, file synchronization, backups, photo organization, and network video recorder operation.

The two bays support 3.5" SATA HDDs and 2.5" SATA SSDs. For higher performance, two integrated M.2 slots can be used for SSD cache without occupying the drive bays. With the Synology DX525 expansion unit, the NAS can be expanded to up to seven drives and achieve a raw capacity of up to 140 TB.
