The new generation offers higher capacity up to 150 liters and a long service life of up to 4 weeks per filter.
4-stage filtration for top performance: a superfine mesh traps larger particles (sand, rust), natural activated carbon from coconut shells reduces chlorine and trace impurities (herbicides, pesticides, pharmaceutical residues, if present in the water), ion-exchange beads lower metal content (e.g., lead, copper) and soften water (tested up to 120 L), and an additional filter mesh retains impurities up to 4× more effectively than the previous MAXTRA+ (particles ~30 μm).
Ecology and safety first. The filter housing and body are made from 50% bioplastic with ISCC PLUS certification. BRITA products hold a positive NIZP-PZH hygiene certificate. Choosing BRITA filters reduces single-use plastic – 1 filter replaces up to 150 bottles of 1 L.
