The Blaupunkt CMD401 drip coffee maker is an ideal choice for anyone who drinks a relatively large amount of classic black coffee and values easy preparation. Coffee from a drip maker is also a great alternative to cup-brewed coffee, because it contains no grounds and its flavor remains just as intense after brewing.

The CMD401 coffee maker works on a very simple principle. Place the reusable nylon filter (included) or a disposable paper filter (1×4) into the basket located above the carafe and add ground coffee. Then pour water into the dedicated tank with a maximum capacity of 1.25 liters and switch the device on. Heated water seeps through the coffee and the finished drink flows into the carafe. In this way, you can prepare 10–12 cups of coffee in one go. After brewing, empty and wash the nylon filter so it can be reused; the paper filter should be discarded.

This device is also ideal for brewing loose-leaf tea. The principle is the same as for coffee; simply place the tea leaves in the filter.

The CMD401 coffee maker is equipped with a keep-warm function, so you can be sure your coffee will still be hot when you reach for it after some time. We all occasionally forget to turn off the coffee maker, so the manufacturer ensured that the CMD401 switches off automatically after 40 minutes of inactivity.
