The AXAGON HUE-MSA USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) metal hub allows you to connect up to four USB devices to a notebook or computer. It also offers USB port deactivation and a charging hub function.

The hub’s metal enclosure is made of aluminum and provides excellent mechanical protection during frequent transport. The elegant, finely textured surface resists fingerprint smudges. Rubber pads prevent sliding on the desk. The fixed 20 cm USB cable is ideal for mobile users.

Each USB port can be switched off/on by pressing a button. This makes it easy to disconnect unnecessary devices without unplugging them from the USB hub. Each USB-A port features a blue LED indicating whether the port is on or off. When the hub is plugged in, all LEDs are lit = ports are on; LED off = port is off.

The hub’s versatility is enhanced by a built-in micro USB connector for additional power from a standard phone charger. With this auxiliary power, you can connect several external hard drives to a computer, notebook, tablet, or smartphone. Thanks to the high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, transfer rates up to 5 Gb/s are supported.

Using the hub charging function, you can charge mobile devices even without a computer connection. An unused charger turns this USB hub into a charging hub. The hub also offers phone/tablet charging up to 1.5 A/5 V. Easily charge your Android smartphone, Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, etc.

The USB hub is an ideal accessory for ultrabooks with a small number of USB-A ports. You can also charge additional devices when needed. The hub can be connected to phones using a suitable OTG or USB-A to USB-C adapter. You can connect a flash drive, keyboard, and mouse to a phone or tablet.

Hub power mode via USB cable (bus power):
USB bus power is sufficient for connecting low-power USB devices (mouse, keyboard, card reader, flash drive, etc.) or self-powered devices (printer, scanner, 3.5" external drive) to all four ports.
In this power mode, the USB hub can operate with up to two 2.5" magnetic external drives simultaneously.

Hub power mode via USB + external USB charger (self-powered):
Integrated micro USB connector for additional hub power.
Any wall charger for mobile devices (not included) with a micro USB connector can be used for additional hub power (recommended charger output current min. 2 A).
In this mode, the USB hub can run up to three 2.5" magnetic external drives. This mode is recommended for connecting smartphones and tablets.
Charging mobile devices (including iPad) with up to 1.5 A on each hub port. The total charging current (shared across ports) is up to 2.6 A at 5 V (depending on the external wall charger’s capabilities).

Standalone charging station mode without computer connection (charging hub):
When the connected computer is off or not connected, the hub works with power from a USB wall charger as a standalone USB charging hub. Simply connect a standard wall charger with a micro USB connector (micro USB input) to the hub.
Charge mobile devices (including iPad) with up to 1.5 A per hub port. The total charging current (shared across ports) is up to 2.8 A at 5 V (depending on the external wall charger’s capabilities).
