The ICY BOX IB-RD3640SU3 is a four-bay RAID system that enables fast work with large amounts of data. Up to four hard drives can be installed in the high-quality aluminum enclosure without using any tools. There is no capacity limit, allowing you to use a very large amount of data in a very compact chassis. You can use it, for example, in a company where the volume of data is huge, as well as for storing large amounts of audio or video files.
On both PC and Mac you can take advantage of high-speed connectivity via eSATA and USB 3.0 interfaces, so you can edit video and audio files with high performance and fast read speeds. To protect your data, ICY BOX offers various RAID configurations: 0/1/3/5/10 / SINGLE. The IB-RD3640SU3 is very quiet and provides optimal conditions for the drives thanks to a built-in temperature-controlled fan. The unit is also equipped with synchronized standby mode for power saving.
