What are AGM batteries?
AGM accumulators are a type of lead-acid battery with high energy density. AGM are sealed batteries in which the electrolyte is held within glass mat separators. As a result, they are safe and durable, and have a longer lifespan than other types of lead-acid batteries. They also require no maintenance.
Standby operation
Standby operation allows the battery to function as an emergency power source for connected devices. A battery connected to a power system provides backup power in the event of a main power failure. This is how they are used in alarm systems, UPS units, cash registers, and emergency lighting.
Cyclic operation
Cyclic use means using the battery as an independent power source. This type of AGM is ready for very frequent charging and discharging. Therefore, they are used in wheelchairs, photovoltaic systems, golf carts, toys, and lawn mowers.
