The Shelly BLU smart door and window sensor reliably detects opening and closing, measures the ajar angle, and reacts to ambient light thanks to its integrated light sensor. It communicates wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.2 with a range of up to 30 m, is powered by a CR2032 battery lasting up to 5 years, and is suitable for homes and commercial spaces.
Shelly BLU is a compact and lightweight sensor for doors and windows that monitors the open/closed state and also measures the tilt angle. Thanks to the integrated light sensor, it can respond to changes in illumination, making it ideal for lighting automation or security. The black finish and small dimensions (35 × 35 × 7 mm) won’t disrupt your interior.
It offers two operating modes: in Normal mode, it sends status, ambient light, and battery data with every open/close event and checks the tilt angle every 8 seconds. In Beacon mode, it broadcasts information at approximately 30-second intervals. Communication is via Bluetooth 4.2 with AES (CCM) encryption, and device management is handled by the Shelly Smart Control app.
