Very fast – and thanks to the mechanical counter, much more reliable than LCD
A jump rope? I thought it was a children’s toy. Those were my first associations with this toy for exercise. During a CrossFit class I was surprised when the coach handed me the tool. It was a bit different from what I remembered from childhood. Metal bearings, a steel cable, a counter. After the workout I realized how effective and efficient it is. Today I know much more about it and can recommend it to everyone.

Training with a jump rope is very simple. You just need a little space and that’s basically it. It can be a great alternative to running when, for example, it’s raining outside. You can easily do a very strong interval or cardio session at home. And most importantly—jumping is child’s play. At first it can be difficult to coordinate arms and legs, but progress is very fast and after a few tries anyone can handle it. In the beginning, take it slowly and calmly, preferably in front of a mirror. Over time you’ll start doing more and more complex variations—on one leg, with double-unders, or with crossed legs.
